First, I want to cover pedal customization, such as footboard length and beater angles. I cover some of the different options available to you when purchasing pedals and give you a few tips on how to decide on which is best for you.
If you haven’t decided on a single or double pedal already, you may want check out this lesson on the advantages and disadvantages of a single vs. double pedal.
I have also included some information on the type of bass drum beater used and how it can change the sound of your bass as well as the feel/response of the pedal.
You can also change the speed/rebound/attack of your pedal by changing out the pedal cam.
